Best Treks for the Diwali and New Year Holidays

Two holiday windows fill our batches faster than any others: Diwali week and the Christmas–New Year stretch. Different months, very different mountains.

Best Treks for the Diwali and New Year Holidays

Diwali (October–November): clarity season

Post-monsoon air makes this the best-views window of the year. Kuari Pass delivers Nanda Devi front and centre; Har Ki Dun gives you golden village valleys; Chopta-Chandrashila packs a summit into a long weekend. Book 6–8 weeks ahead — these dates are the year's most contested.

New Year (late December): snow season

Welcoming January 1st from a snowbound campsite is a bucket-list classic. Kedarkantha is the flagship (and our ₹4,999 winter offer makes it the value pick), Brahmatal is the quieter alternative, and Nag Tibba works if you only have the weekend itself.

Booking reality check

Christmas–New Year batches usually sell out by October, Diwali batches by early September. If your leave is confirmed, book — our free-cancellation window (30+ days) protects you if plans change.
