We don't recommend Dzongri in July. The trail is at its best in Mar, Apr, May, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec — and there are better options this month (listed below). The trek runs 7 days from Yuksom, West Sikkim, reaching 13,780 ft at its highest point, and is graded Moderate (3/5). The fee is ₹17,999 + 5% GST with permits, meals, camping and certified trek leaders included.

Weather & trail conditions in July

Rain is a daily companion on most Himalayan trails in these months — expect slippery descents, leeches in the forest sections and occasional roadblocks on the drives.
