We don't recommend Milam Glacier in February. The trail is at its best in May, Jun, Sep, Oct — and there are better options this month (listed below). The trek runs 10 days from Munsiyari, Pithoragarh, reaching 11,500 ft at its highest point, and is graded Difficult (5/5). The fee is ₹19,999 + 5% GST with permits, meals, camping and certified trek leaders included.

Weather & trail conditions in February

Expect snow on the upper sections of the trail and frozen water sources near camps. Micro-spikes and gaiters (provided on our snow treks) become essential above the snowline, and daylight hours are short — days start early and end early. On Milam Glacier, expect daytime temperatures around 9°C on the trail and roughly -7°C at the highest camps after dark in February.
