The trek runs 7 days from Aru, Pahalgam, reaching 12,800 ft at its highest point, and is graded Moderate-Difficult (4/5). Weather & trail conditions in December

Expect snow on the upper sections of the trail and frozen water sources near camps. Micro-spikes and gaiters (provided on our snow treks) become essential above the snowline, and daylight hours are short — days start early and end early. On Nafran Valley, expect daytime temperatures around 8°C on the trail and roughly -7°C at the highest camps after dark in December.
