Trek leaders, basecamp teams, cooks, mule handlers and coordinators — a TrekNova batch is always the work of many hands, most of them from the mountains themselves.
Trek leaders
Our trek leaders are chosen for their experience on the trail and their care for the people walking behind them. We encourage continuous learning in first aid and mountain safety, and many of our leaders come from the very villages our trails pass through — nobody knows these mountains better.
Local teams
Our kitchen and support staff largely come from basecamp villages like Sankri, Lohajung, Raithal and Pantwari — so every booking helps put income into the mountain communities that host us. It's something we're quietly proud of.
