Drive up the Wangath valley to the ancient stone temples of Naranag, then take the steep shepherd trail up through pines to the hanging meadow of Trunkhol. Harmukh appears at the top of the climb.

Army and police ID checks are common on Kashmir routes — carry an original govt. photo ID; foreign nationals must carry their passport. Itineraries can adjust to local advisories.

Don't want to carry your rucksack? Our mules and porters will carry it camp-to-camp while you walk with a light daypack. Bags must be under 9 kg, soft-sided, without wheels.
