Drive up through the quiet cantonment town of Chakrata and into the deodar belt. A short walk brings you to camp in a forest clearing — silence, resin-scent, and koklass pheasants calling at dusk.

Permits & paperwork
Chakrata falls in a cantonment-controlled area — entry formalities and Kalsi forest division permits are handled by us. Indian nationals only on this trail; carry an original govt. photo ID.
Backpack offloading
Don't want to carry your rucksack? Our mules and porters will carry it camp-to-camp while you walk with a light daypack. Bags must be under 9 kg, soft-sided, without wheels.
