Adventure Therapy
Treks for change or healing, facilitated by a trained counsellor.
Some people come to the mountains for a summit. Others come to work something out — a difficult year, a stuck pattern, a transition they're carrying alone. Adventure therapy treks are built for the second kind of journey.
A trained counsellor walks with the group for the entire trek. The trail does what trails do — slows you down, strips the noise away — and the facilitator helps you make sense of what comes up, through one-on-one conversations and small group sessions along the way.
The adventure therapy trek
We recommend signing up solo rather than with friends or family — the group works best when everyone starts as strangers. Write to hello@treknova.in if you need an exception.
Adventure therapy batches cost ₹5,000 above the regular trek fee, since a trained counsellor accompanies the group for the full trek.
Why trek with this group
A shared purpose
Everyone on the batch has signed up for the same reason. That shared intent creates a group that is unusually open, unusually kind and unusually good at listening.
A professional walks with you
The facilitator isn't on call — they're on the trail, watching the group, noticing what words miss.
One-on-one and circle sessions
Private conversations when you need them; facilitated group circles each evening at camp.
A slower trek by design
The itinerary keeps walking days short and afternoons free. Space to think is a feature, not a gap in the schedule.
Support that continues
The group typically stays connected after the trek, and an optional follow-up call with the facilitator is offered 45 days later.
Who is this trek for?
If you're seeking support
You're working through something — anxiety, burnout, grief, a life transition — and want a supported, outdoor setting to process it alongside professional guidance.
If you're seeking growth
Nothing is 'wrong' — you simply want structured time for reflection, self-awareness and course-correction, away from your everyday context.
