Family Treks
Joyful memories through meaningful treks — together.
When was the last time your family spent four unbroken days together — no office calls, no school runs, no screens? A family trek gives you exactly that: uninterrupted time in the mountains, where the only plan for the day is walking, eating and talking together.
Something shifts on the trail. Parents watch their children carry their own bags, pitch in at camp and grow visibly more independent. Children see their parents laugh, play and struggle up a slope like equals. By the time you're back at the roadhead, you've built the kind of shared memory no holiday resort can manufacture.
Family trek batches
Open to families trekking with children under 18. Children aged 14 and under get a 50% scholarship on the trek fee.
How family treks differ from regular treks
The goal is connection, not conquest
On a regular trek, the focus is your personal challenge — the summit, the pass, the distance. On a family trek, the route is chosen and paced so the family experiences the mountain together. The summit is a bonus; the conversations on the way are the point.
Designed in three layers
Our trek leaders run separate briefings and reflection circles for children, for parents, and for the family together. Role-reversal activities — kids navigate a stretch, parents follow — are built into the itinerary.
Nature, discovered as a family
Bird calls, deodar forests, night skies — children and parents discover the outdoors at the same time, on equal footing. Shared wonder is a powerful equaliser.
Shifts that outlast the trek
Families consistently tell us the same things: parents come back trusting their kids with more, kids come back more self-reliant, and many families start new rituals — weekend walks, yearly treks, screen-free dinners.
What trekkers say
“Our 12-year-old led the trail on summit day. I have never seen him stand that tall.”
“Four days without a single screen — and not one complaint. The mountains did what we couldn't.”
