Themed treks

Treks for Seniors

Reconnect with your inner child — at your own pace.

Many seniors hesitate to join a regular trekking group. Will I slow everyone down? Will the group wait for me? On our seniors-only batches, that worry disappears — you trek with your own age group, at a pace set for you, with a support system built around you.

These are not watered-down treks. They are the same trails, the same campsites and the same summit views — just walked more gently, with more rest, more tea and more time to take it all in.

Who can join

  • You are 58 or older
  • You lead an active lifestyle — regular walks, yoga or sport
  • You can walk 5 km in 60 minutes by the time your trek starts
  • You clear a Treadmill Test (TMT) and share the report with us

Trekkers aged 65 and above join after a callback with our team and a physical assessment.

Seniors trek batches

Seniors batches cost ₹3,000 above the regular trek fee — this covers the extra staff, facilities and medical support on these batches.

How seniors treks differ from regular treks

01

Routes and pace, re-planned

Shorter walking days, gentler gradients where the trail allows, and generous buffer time. Nobody checks a watch on these batches.

02

1:5 staff-to-trekker ratio

One trained team member for every five trekkers — more than double our regular staffing — so help is always an arm's length away.

03

Comfort, taken seriously

Western-style toilet seats at every camp, camp stools for resting, backpack offloading included in the fee, and hot tea and snacks at regular intervals on the trail.

04

Daily health monitoring

Blood pressure and oxygen checks every morning and evening, run by trek leaders specially trained for senior batches.

05

A menu planned for you

Lighter, easier-to-digest meals designed with seniors in mind — less fried, more warm, and always plenty of it.
