We don't recommend Hilley–Barsey in August. The trail is at its best in Mar, Apr, May — and there are better options this month (listed below). Rain is a daily companion on most Himalayan trails in these months — expect slippery descents, leeches in the forest sections and occasional roadblocks on the drives.
